The Warwickshire Kennels are an integral part of the village of Kineton. They are deservedly
listed, with their fine symmetrical facade. They could be converted into village housing but that would be a sad fate for one of the finest and earliest purpose built hunt kennels.
The sample Historic Hunting Landscape chosen lies east of Compton Scorpion Farm. As the photographs show, this is fine pasture country with well laid hedges, bordered by the Fosse Way.
In a county bedevilled by motorways, the protection of a traditional hunting area such as this is particularly important.
